The Evans Street project was initiated to address deteriorating stormwater pipes in a residential area. Our team’s survey and design work identified the need for an overall upgrade to the size and materials used to convey the public stormwater. The BSB construction crews have installed over 500 feet of new pipe, new drain inlets, headwalls, and wing walls. A large stormwater channel has also been widened and stabilized for the future. Stormwater improvement projects like these help to reduce and prevent flooding or high water events, and also protect the environment and public safety!
